Notes
Recorded March 1991.
Different master:
This version of the album (matrix/runout NB 047 P+O-9309-A1 06-91) has a different master than all other 1991 versions and a much better dynamic range (see https://dr.loudness-war.info/album/view/71185 as opposed to https://dr.loudness-war.info/album/view/66744). The three versions with the matrix/runout NB 047 P+O-9309-A1 08-91 are mastered twice as loud. They are often erroneously described as first pressings, although they are, in fact, later pressings, as the last two digits of the matrix indicate 08-91 rather than 06-91. The present version is the only true first CD pressing.
Different CD artwork:
The non-playing side of the disc has a black-and-white design with orange printing, which distinguishes it from two of the three later 1991 versions. If you want to be sure it's the first pressing, however, you have to additionally look out for the matrix/runout (see above), as there is one repress that has the same CD design: https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/Dismember-Like-An-Ever-Flowing-Stream/release/5558197.
As of 2023-01-27 this release shares its mastering with a digital release "Like An Everflowing Stream (1991 Master)" available on streaming platforms (Apple Music, Deezer, Qobuz etc.) as well as on digital purchase/ platforms (Qobuz, 7digital etc.). The latter offers this mastering in 24 bit/44.1 kHz resolution. Even though it's explicitly stated (by the band) to be the same mastering, the DR-values of each track differ slightly (circa +/- 1 dB) between the two releases.

This has long been the best sounding mastering of this album. As of 2023-01-27 this masting has been re-released as "Like An Overflowing Stream (1991 Master) available on digital platforms. Like the band puts it themselves, this mastering is "now finally available for a wider audience. Enjoy it in all its gory!"

I can assure that this is the best quality ever for this album. Lower volume, super dynamics, balanced guitars and amazing drum/cymbals sound. Test done with a proper audio device (FIIO M11 and Philips Fidelio X3 earphones - FLAC file ripped frome the cd).
You can throw in the bin everything remastered and made after.
I used to be bored after some listenings of the 8/91 copy, everything was super loud and messed up, now i play constantly the 6/91 and it's really enjoyable, without losing the original aggression recorded in the studio. -
I got an 06-91 sealed for a very reasonable price but I question if it’s a boot. Overall, printing quality is totally pro and it feels authentic. Are there any common characteristics of a boot or has anyone tried extracting metadata from the disc to see if there is a conflicting timestamp?

I just got my copy of 06-91 and I was second-guessing if the difference would be there to notice. I am not a super audiophile but I am a Dismember fan and I'm starting to play bass. This version is indeed a big difference compared to 08-91!!! I am again listening to it as I write this and I almost want to cry. I put the start of the same song back and forth between the two albums on my 5-disc player and the difference is obvious but I just kept going back and forth in disbelief. Why would a producer do this and think it's a great idea after that? Bunch of idiots. Anyway, if you are a Dismember fan and thinking of buying this one... do it!

Buy the 2018 russian bootleg and you will be satisfied cause it uses the 06-91 master. Killer Bootleg!

Since this release is quite expensive... Which later release(s) uses the right master? Does anyone know?
