Well, I thought this would be the Wakeman album that I enjoyed, but that didn't come to fruition. The lineup on this record really seems promising, and they do a good job with their instruments, but it just doesn't work as an album. It's boring. I guess it's got to be the songwriting, it just comes off extremely weak, and overly centered around wakemans keys, which is to be expected as it's his album. The only thing I enjoyed at times on this album was some or the drumming and grooves, like in the final track.
Maybe this sounded really cool in the first half of the 70s but in 2021 this sounds wack as hell.
