I love Optimal as a pressing plant, they normally do a spectacular job. However, this pressing, although clean and cut beautifully, is littered with non-fill on 2 of the 4 sides (side 2 and 3). I've noticed so many more non-fill issues on Lp's from most pressing plants. The quality control standards are too loose for most plants and it is frustrating. I guess I'll have to return it for a replacement, but who knows if that one will be better or worse. Very, very, very frustrating -
WOW. This sounds magnificent. Lots of clarity and a dynamic soundstage. One of the better pressings in my collection. -

Revisiting this classic on vinyl is a revelation. Great sound and dynamics. I am hearing stuff not heard before and its now in the top 10 best sounding re-issues that I own. -
Edited 4 years agoHave 2 copies, 1 seriously warped, another with a light/medium warp that you see here and there on other records. That said, my second copy plays with no issues. Not sure if this is an issue for others, just something to look out for.
In of audio, there is minimal/no surface noise, a great pressing in that regard. -
