folks who dig this kind of psychodelic disco from mid 70's might njoy another big hit from back then that's rare, HOT ICE - DANCING FREE. JUST SAYIN
-
THE 2 PT 7" SINGKE HAS THE BEST PRODUCTION ON IT. VERY CLEAR AND BOOMING BASS A AMAZING EXAMPLE OF THE PSYCHEDELIC DISCO ERA OF THE STATES. IT DOESN''T GET TRIPPIER THAN THIS GEM

The Heavenly Star original sounds MUCH better than the Tyson 12" (I bought the latter as a backup, wish I hadn't bothered). Clearer mix, punchier bass, if you're a Patrick Adams addict like me track down an original.

Edited 2 years agoI found a copy of this in an old collection being thrown out. Had no idea it was so rare or sought after.

Edited 10 years agoLater released on NY based Tyson records, said to be a 90's pressing. Heavenly Star is the original, however actual dates are not listed on either. Edan the DJ looped a break from this track for use on his "Echo Party" mix.
