I liked the tune as a 15 year old but it hasn't aged well. Very pretentious spoken word introduction, simplistic string arrangement and whilst the kick still hits heavy it lacks any really percusive elements or fills needed to add depth and complexity. Compare this to something like Slacker Scared and the difference in quality is all too apparent,

Amazing trance classic from just as the golden age was about to kick off. Eleven out of ten easily. I don't see how this has much to do with house though.

Top tip; this track works brilliantly when mixed into the Way Out West Summer 1996 remix of 'Le Voie Le Soleil' by Subliminal Cuts. There's about half a BPM difference between the two tracks, so a quick nudge on the pitch adjustment and the two will be beatmatched and in the same key.
