        My very used copy had some crackle also. I ran it thru the Kirmuss machine and it cleaned it up a lot. Still not perfect. The sound is great now though. Made a big difference. I guess I have the correct normal amount now. Incredible record. Play it loud to get the full effect.

        Great record. I love it. Glad to have an early UK pressing.

          Apparently the quality of the sound production of this was never great due to the poor live recording!
          There is also some reference to the crackle and popping on the record label. I just live with it, cos it is what it is.
