Cheap heat. One of the finest fusion/funk/rare groove LPs you'll ever hear, and pressed flawlessly. Wide, deep, rich in all frequencies. You could sell a lot of stereo systems if you use this record to demo them.

Brilliant album. Did Byrd do anything else as good as this?

A Game Changing Album For Me. Early 90's just looking for breaks, the dealer litterally flings it at me and said "You;ll probably like this"....hmm I know the name, the label but being about 15 with about 30 quid total to spend I had to think twice...A masterpiece from start to finish and one of the best tenners i have ever spent.
Wish i could go back and rediscover music like this for the first time

One of the finest jazz funk LPs ever put together - any jazz funk collection is incomplete without this. As sampled by Pete Rock and other hiphop artists. Serious grooves, melodies and production by the infamous MIZELL BROTHERS (who were responsible for other great Donald Byrd LPs). All most perfect all the way through, 9/10 legendary jazz funk LP.
