This press sounds like MP3 😱 I search better pressing for this album, perhaps blue box? Or repress 2022?

I cycled my butt off today on my break from work to collect this from the sorting office. I love this album, love KP and love my bro for getting it for me! Peace out!
We all know KP is a musical genius, this album is colourful and emotive - sounds delicious on wax! -
Edited 10 years agoThe pre-order for the LP came in a number of variants, in editions of 100, none of which varied greatly from the others. In the UK there were the Rough Trade & RecordStore.co.uk autographed editions. The Rough Trade edition came with a bonus CD, and RecordStore.co.uk, with 3 badges. Some copies were signed by all band , and others by just Kevin.
Similar editions appeared in the US and Australia. Anyone care to fill in?

Could anyone tell me if there is a generic first pressing of this? Or is the deluxe version as close as it gets?

Grizzly, I have recently got this on vinyl. It is noticeably much better sounding than the I had, so I'm really please actually as I love this album. The DR rating bears this out (see the Loudness War website). I got it from Amazon add it's so easy to return no questions asked if it was warped etc, but it's absolutely fine. Crap paper inners, yes, but nothing an anti static insert won't fix.

I wanna get this album on vinyl, but i hear alot of complaints..(noisy in quite spots)
check the amazon reviews (there's one on the vinyl copy, and theirs alot of people agreeing with it)
anyone who owns this, please write your thoughts on the vinyl pressing of this, need to know! -
Honestly this is one of the BEST albums I've heard in a long time. Lonerism ranked high on my list of top 10 albums from 2012. There's this unique sound that spans across all the tracks. They are so unique and take you on a musical journey. Some songs actually gave me a chilling feeling that the band was channeling The Beatles (though not purposely of course). My top 2 fav tunes have to be 'Why Won't They Talk To Me' and 'Suns Coming Up', though I really enjoy the entire album from start to finish. Most def a record I'd recommend to any serious pop/rock fan as a must have!
