I purchased this album back when it came out..and due to being a crazy little kid..I actually took care of my records. And then TDK tapes..LOL. So my copy now is VG+ or better..that being said..it sounds fantastic for a Capitol release. Its literally like listening to different songs due to the mastering. Def sounds really good.

An interesting reissue given that some of the tracks were not part of the original Rubber Soul release. But it arguably sounds more like the tracks 'go-together' than the original pressing. 'I've Just Seen A Face' follows 'Norwegian Wood' very nicely, giving the A side a nice pop-psychedelic-ish sound.

I saved up and bought this in 1981 at a Sound Warehouse probably paid $9 for it back then (the price of Beatles records skyrocketed to status after Lennon's death). I was unaware of a UK tracklisting but did notice the 'wally' inscription in the deadwax. I was obsessed.

Not with that label; it may be The Beatles - Rubber Soul, possibly another... See the notes sections on the pages for these versions for some more clues as to which one you've got!
