When in 2001 was released first Avantasia album - it was such a blow, in of power with which could compare only an atomic bomb! I'd how this album was showing the highest positions in the charts. Indeed, both in music and in melody, this is the continuation of Edguy ideas. Tobias Sammet could not depart from the already found style, so he did better - he perfected it. Tobias Sammet could not depart from the already found style, so he did better - he make this style better. Avantasia is so wide-ranging conceptual work, which is very difficult to find in a such a high quality, at least in the power metal. Many tried to repeat the success of the Tobias metal opera, but none, even Sammet himself, could not get close to the very first part of the Avantasia.
