Notes
Made in the EU.
Comes with a hardcover book and code for ing extra material (Code Expires 1st August 2013). ing material contains all audio tracks (320 kbps, MP3), excepting the bonus track "Superman", access to streams of EPK interviews from every album (except "Leisure" and "Modern Life Is Rubbish", which instead is of two songs from both albums), commentaries about each album, plus all 32 issues of the fan club magazines (entitled "Blurb") as PDFs.
CD18-19 "Under The Westway" is an earlier version than the one released elsewhere, (though not printed or mentioned on the release), as the song was re-recorded again after the box set went to print, with an alternative bridge.
DVD3-17 is mislabeled: it is a previously unreleased full-length version of the music video’s animatic, part of which was previously included in release Blur - Good Song.
The Japanese version of the box set Blur - Blur 21 (The Box) features a further 7 songs, 6 of which previously unreleased officially.
Whilst this is a very comprehensive box set encoming the band's entire career with some previously unreleased and harder to find material, it is not a complete collection and does omit some b-sides and remixes from live E.P.'s and promo's plus one-off songs and covers the band did for compilation, soundtrack and charity albums at various stages during their career, nor any of their official live albums.

Some editions of the CD Box set came in a blue card box with white string handles, with 'blur' printed on the front.
me if you are interested on getting your hands on one of these carry-case boxes. -
this may sound weird but does anyone where i can just get the rarities cds alone instead of the whole box set?
-
-
I ended up with both the vinyl and the CD sets. The latter is far superior in of content; in of the LP sound quality, it's good to have Modern Life Is Rubbish and Parklife on double LP.

Edited 6 years agoBeautiful box by Oasis' arch rivals, great vinyl pressings, the box itself is strong but not invincible. The card worked about a year after the end date listed (August 1, 2013), and can only be used once (so no use in making offers for mine). The s are the same as what is on the CD version of the box, and also included the Blurb fanzine issues in pdf format. I haven't really played these very many times, but that ain't because I don't like this band. I'll likely buy the CD box eventually and retire the vinyls, but then again maybe not...worth every penny!

Edited 6 years agoAt time of writing access is still possible to the site even though the Blur web page now appears to be controlled by Universal. My previous details were not recognised but when I ed as a new verified email and all the albums appeared for ing. I did not have to enter my code again. The interviews are no longer there but all the deluxe albums, rarities sets and Blurbs fan mags are.
UPDATE 30th May 2019 promotion now closed and content no longer accessible. -
Does anyone have a code for this set? I missed out buying it and own all the original CDs and just don't want to buy them all again if I can them.
Thanks -
Does anyone have a list of the specific tracks that are NOT included in this box? Three that I can think of are "Substitute" (The Who cover), "Colours", and "The Puritan". Plus "Y'all Doomed". I would love a list of the tracks not found in this box and would appreciate any help compiling such a list. Thank you!
