This sleeve has a "見本盤" sticker on it, but the vinyl may have been distributed as a promo with the same thing as the regular. I think they are mixed. What do you think?

I recently discovered this, and was instantly blown away. I came from Hiroshi Yoshimura. Its to a heavenly surprise this is being repressed. This is amazing.

Fantastic, timeless release that definitely lives up to the superlative rating that has been bestowed upon it. Deep, dark, moody, subtle, almost "droney" in parts with excellent accompanying percussion. Perfect for a quiet, meditative rainy Sunday morning.

Seems like cd is the best option - maybe ill buy I crackly 33rpm if I see if cheap - just to get that cover artwork (which is stunning)
Regardless of format - a welcome reissue to be treasured. -
The CD reissue is very dynamic and conservatively mastered, if anyone cares. Glad I didn't go for the vinyl as I would've been frustrated had I received an off center LP or a record with non-fill.

Pre-orders are up now from both the labels releasing this. These labels make plenty so no need to worry.

Thanks for the update, that's been very good news indeed - especially cos I see she'll be doing something in Glasgow where I live!

Reissue 2017 and a tour
Her deep quests into traditional African and Asian percussive language are captured on a series of now highly sought after albums including her masterpiece Through The Looking Glass (1981/RCA) and her collaboration with Masahiko Satoh Lunar Cruise (1990/Epic-Sony), both of which will be reissued on Swiss label WRWTFWW in 2017.
To coincide with the reissues, Midori will be touring her solo percussion performances to festivals and concert spaces around Europe. -
yeah, been waiting all year for the repress. i guess we'd better accept that it may not be happening now..?
