I still hearing this album for the first time with my best friend weeks after release: First we‘ve been shocked because of the synth / keyboard part in the intro of Moonchild, then we both got enthusiastic about the incredible fat and ass-kicking production of the record. Nevertheless this album was the last IM album I immediately bought after the release of a new one. „Piece of Mind“ in comparison, was and is unique and a high benchmark.

Mine skips at the acoustic intro of Moonchild when vocals are starting 5 secs aprox and I cant find the damn scratch or dirt, have cleaned it multiple times and little has improved, anybody else have this issue?

Edited one year agogot another copy...near mint....sounds fantastic, crystal clear, dead silent, top pressing, nicely balanced mix.

Edited 6 days agocompared to my 2014 reissue this copy is the one i prefer. sounds definitely better but i have to look for another copy because mine is so noisy it burns my ears. crackles from the beginning to the end...and not only between the tracks :-(

My copy of this sounds great but I don't have any other version to compare it to. Anyone know why this very nice German pressed version goes for so much less than others version? A regular US original goes for >$50 all day even though I have generally found European, and specifically German, pressses to be superior to US.

This is prob one of my favourite albums, along side with Somewhere In Time. It is almost impossible to select an Iron Maiden album from another as i love all of them. I saw them live in Adelaide, South Australia back in 2013 and was going to see them for the second time a month ago, but the Legacy of the Beast tour was cancelled, due to covid 19. So thats a shame.

seems like i have exact that Version, and mine is embossed on cover ( IM logo & Eddie )
if its the case by the most of the owner of this Version,
maybe it should be written in the discriptions
