Edited 6 years agoThe blu ray version is remastered, written in the back, as well as any DVD version since 2007 and up.
I compared 11389 DVD (1999) versus Led Zeppelin - The Song Remains the Same 2007 DVD from that 1973 show on the official Led Zeppelin channel of Youtube:
The 1999 one produces such a pure, clean, unboosted natural sound compared to the later of 2007. ///
BBC Sessions (live album) ; First press of 1997 is secretly remastered by Jimmy Page.
How The West Was Won (live album) ; First press of 2003 is remastered.
The DVD (Video) ; First press is secretly remastered. "Everything here looks and sounds new-minted, thanks to painstaking restoration and remastering of both audio and visual sources" direct from the Product Description, not written on the booklet itself.
sound is loud, boosted, etc
Pro footage that doesn't sound secretly remastered: Led Zeppelin Earls Court 1975 + Earl's Court May 25, 1975 PT. 2 HD - full concert in non-remaster (ultra smooth sound)
Led Zeppelin: Knebworth August 11th 1979 [Fully Filmed Concert] in non-remaster. (ultra smooth sound)
I did not find the Royal Albert Hall 1970 non-remaster lea., as the one posted is secretly remastered.
