Sounds good from a mastering standpoint. The 45 rpm is quiet and sounds wonderful. The salmon disc is well done. Flat and quiet throughout. Not a 10 out of 10 in the quiet scale but close.
In my opinion the 45 disc is better material, the salmon disc is not my favorite stuff of his, but a good entry nonetheless. -
Sooo happy I opted for this pressing!! Everything about the packing feels so intentional and high-quality, and the salmon disc is gorgeous and perfectly color-matched to the album art. The 45/33 mix is a nice touch and shows the team wanted to get the highest quality out of this release as possible. Fantastic pressing of an amazing project!!

I feel like reading the reviews my experience is a fluke, but my copy is amazing.
I've been streaming the Dolby Atmos version on Tidal since it came out and already thought the sound of the album was great. This LP brought new dimensions to these songs that felt like hearing them for the first time. The 45rpm for the Sable EP really brings out the great mic-ing and mastering on those sparse tracks. The sax crescendo on Award Season is so unbelievable.
Then when I saw the Fable LP was 33 1/3 rpm I worried, because there's so much more happening on those songs than the Sable EP. Thankfully, the detail and subtleties are just as impressive on the second disc. I was hearing layers and parts of these songs i had not yet heard. I'll Be There especially felt like a brand new song.
My copy is totally flat, and I love everything about the packaging of this pressing. I cannot recommend this release enough! -
My copy looks and sounds wonderful. Side B doesn’t lock for me but other than that, it’s perfect.

Really great pressing, and the packaging is really high quality and aesthetically pleasing. I love the drone sound on side B, it's even cooler if your record player has autostop so it slows down. Disc 1 definitely sounds richer to me than disc 2, but both sound great.

Edited one month agoThis is a great pressing. The acoustic guitar on “Speyside” sounds so crisp on the 45rpm. I love as well that the runout grooves on the 45rpm connects the droning sound that starts off fABLE on the 33rpm. Very well done. The production on this is fantastic. Good detail and soundstage. This is a great presentation with the black and salmon coloured vinyl just like the art cover. This is such an amazing record. Bon Iver outdid himself. This record will highly rank as AOTY for me. And “There’s a rhythmn” most likely SOTY.

Edited one month agoInteresting that Disc 1 is a 45 and Disc 2 is a 33 1/3. I've never seen that before. Audio quality is excellent and love that lyrics are included for each track. -
Mine also came with a 12” signed insert. This is the first Bon Iver vinyl I’ve owned, I will have to give his other work a listen too.

Mine sounds and plays excellent, deep and rich sound. Sable is slightly warped, but doesn’t affect play.
