Agree with the comment below. I've streamed this album to death and also had one of the many unauthorized pressings that sounds blah, and hearing this pressing now is a revelation. Gorgeous separation of the instruments. I was immediately struck with how much warmer Mark's voice comes across. And no distortion on any of the sharp spikes in volume. Would love to hear a comparison against the OG UK, but very satisfied with this one.

I haven’t got the celebrated UK press, just this one. I’m usually not a fan of DMM mastering, but my copy of this European release sounds very nice. Quiet pressing, nice dynamics, not sibilant, even the harmonica sounds great. So, I can recommend this pressing, even though the expensive UK press might sound even better. Oh, great record by the way, ;) A milestone.
