BOO OOOO OOOOO OOO OOO OOOYAA AAAA AA A AAAAA
psychodelic funny stuff
loops and things and psycho strings are the majors, Booya the hidden germ and Hook is the quality maker into tribal house like WONKA beats.
4 songs, all fantastic -
Edited 8 years agosuper drugged out /fucked up on dancefloor in late night haze induced schzio-paranoia
demented ballsy fairytale nightmare -
Edited 11 years agoAlthough in 1993 everyone caught in the moment jumped on "Loops & Tings" to make it a commercial success "Psycho Strings" went unnoticed until 6 years later when it was re-issued and remixed (an ultimately ruined!). The original version of "Psycho Strings" included here is a nice piece of Tech-House with a dark twist incorporating Hitchcock's Psycho theme song - The structure is very basic, but the tight beats and the overall clean production make it catchy and enjoyable. Unlike the other tracks here, it still sounds good proving yet again that good music ages well as years go by.
Psycho Strings 5/5 -
Edited 14 years agoFor me this is one of the best house records ever produced. Each song is a real killer in its own way. Loops & Tings and Psycho Strings became the big classics on this record, but the real masterpiece is Boo-Ya and is one of my most favorite songs ever. Everything fits perfectly together and the track sounds as creepy as walking through dark woods and as mysterious as a being captured in a fairytale.
