Normally I have trouble pulling the trigger on Crosstown releases. Alot of the time its music that's catchy and fun, but not always great. This one though is a must-have. The bass-effect in "I Can't Leave You" is ridiculous. The other side is really high quality house/tech house number of almost equal caliber to the A side.

Maceo Plex is a sexy MF. This guy, Eric Estornel, was apparently a little dark-minded (although already producing decent techno, electro and IDM under various monickers), in his hometown of Dallas, Texas (home of our friend George W Bush), then moved to Madrid Spain (home of our friend Pedro Almodovar) and basically found love, sunshine and happiness, and therefore for the good of humanity opened up to proper deep funky and loose house music, with still traces of freakiness and melancholia here and there. We all love fairytales with happy endings and there you have a bonafide one for your eyes (and ears).
This EP (particularily "Can't Leave You") is the bomb, his current DJ sets are like frenchkissing while walking on satin clouds, and he also can go definitive deeper on tracks like "Her Security" (still unreleased on vinyl to this day). Maceo Plex knows what girls like.
