One of my favorite Kit Clayton releases, hands down. But Side A is better at 33 1/3.

Purpakana is one of the deepest, most introvert ambient tracks I have heard to date. I'm not talking ambient in the sense of long, polyphonic strings but the abillity to take you to another place through abstract sounds in a soothing yet thought provoking way. The term "idiot savant" comes to mind to describe Kit Clayton's work on this track.

The track on side a "purpakana" is not the same than the 2nd track "purpakana on "nek salanet" (~scape 002 cd)
