Edited 20 years agoPurpakana is one of the deepest, most introvert ambient tracks I have heard to date. I'm not talking ambient in the sense of long, polyphonic strings but the abillity to take you to another place through abstract sounds in a soothing yet thought provoking way. The term "idiot savant" comes to mind to describe Kit Clayton's work on this track.
