No excuses needed like ”you got to have been there to understand” that some of these comments say. I wish I was in Paris when this released but these tunes, especially club soda, are standing wery well on their own and the test of time.

Good Lawdy this rips!! If I had a Time Machine, I’d kill hitler and then go to Paris in 1998 and get down to this.

              1. club soda (good, but its just slow)
              2. extra dry (it sound like a 1994 track, but stiil good)
              3. shuffle (ITS A HORRIBLE TRACK)
              4. colossus (the best track by far in this ep)
              5. turbo (not bad of a track)

              i will give this ep a 9/10

Des tres grands classiques techno / house mais je trouve quand même que les prix de ces vinyles sont un peu abusés surtout que en 1998,ils ont été pressés à tres grande quantité ! Juste parce que c’est produit par thomas bangalter...

If you weren't in Clubs in 98 don't criticize! These two releases ( Tracks on da rocks 1/2 ) were a revolution in , all tracks were played by a lot of dj's ( they discovered Daft Punk in 98, and didn't buyed Homeworks for a lot of all ),Daft Punk Style is on these 2 records ( cheap samples, filter and groovy bass ) 20 years later it's easy to criticize, but did you produced and risk money on cheap and basic loops/samples ? I don't think so.. They Did it!

apparently "club soda" was often played at 45 rpm within the early footwork scene in chicago around the turn of the millenium
