They went in a new direction. Fair play to them. I would call this dark psychedelic / "psycho techno", Regis' vocals definitely providing an element of madness to go along with the wild rhythms and textures of the BMB machines. But try as I might it just doesn't work for me. It's quite a style-compact album: almost all the tracks follow that psycho techno jam with vocals and heavy delay abuse formula. The only track I really _enjoy_ is the more trad The Set Up Man which is closest to their prior works. Basically: "eh".
