NYA ORS 54

[ A live recording of the 1990 grunge album Ragged Glory, with each track retitled with a phrase taken from the lyrics (with the exception of the cover version of "Farmer John"). The final song on Ragged Glory, "Mother Earth (Natural Anthem)", was not performed.

Tracks 1 to 8 are numbered backwards from 8 to 1.

The length of track 8 is printed incorrectly on the cover and disc; the digits 4 and 5 are swapped.

Made In

Artist name variations on the release: "Neil & The Horse" (front cover), "Neil Young with Crazy Horse" (spine & CD-text), "Neil Young Crazy Horse" (CD label).

For those that are interested, this is not a HDCD release (like so many other Neil CD releases)

I don’t know if I will listen to it often, but it was a pleasant listen. It was recorded in a small club in Toronto. This is basically ol’ Neil throwing a party for his friends. It sounds like a farewell. Some old hippie nostalgia. The voice is quite tired and often enough not in tune, but the guitars sound great. Great guitar tone throughout. It’s also a bit low-fi. It almost sounds like a punk rock album, but with some Americana.

not bad by any means, ragged glory live (minus one track, mother earth natural anthem). good sound and good release, although i would probably rather listen to the original ragged glory
