There is still hope for vinyl afterall. Prior to this and the desertshore reissue i have been running into non stop quality issues (nine inch nails downward spiral for example. Like wtf). Thankfully there are companies that still care.

This sounds great. The 2nd reissue i have purchased and next to the original copy, it is superb.
Well done. -
Another disappointing reissue. What they have done under the guise of mastered from original tapes is to bring out parts of the sound image. This makes it seem like you are hearing something new, something different but in fact the sound sounds harsh and lifeless. Gone is every real and deeply listeningsensation whatsoever in this newly mastered sound. I prefer my German Elektra 80s reissue. All analog.

Edited one year agoHope domino does Chelsea girl also and The end. Its hard to find pressings of Nicos work that sound this good without shelling out $100 or more for a good OG pressing

This release feels like hearing the album afresh, with much of the sonic murk removed. Frozen Warning & Evening Of Light here are just revelatory, with Cale's cello work explosive. Domino deserve real credit for this. (UK vinyl purchase, included).
