I agree with previous comment: my copy looks clean and sounds great.
Not sure if it's just my setup but i think this is a different master compared to the digital... and in a good way: voice is fuller and warmer without compromiper bass and snares that are punchier than digital.
Excellent pressing! -
Record was flat, centred and free of surface noise. Decent mastering, bass is rich and there's a pleasing warmth to the songs.

Edited one year agoWaiting four years may have been a long time for some fans, but Waxahatchee is taking another huge step with this album.
A step? It is a leap forward and a further development of Crutchfield's musical style.
Waxahatchee plays a blend of Roots Rock, Folk Rock and Indie. The album feels very familiar upon first spin. During subsequent spins, as a listener you will discover that the album is teeming with hidden challenges.
The songs on this Tigers Blood contain even more depth than previous albums and musically Waxahatchee is also a bit more spicy (warm?).
It's not just the music that is enjoyable, because anyone who devours the lyrics will encounter everyday personal themes such as fear, grief, love, frustration, forgiveness and acceptance. Waxahatchee delivers the songs - despite themes such as uncertainty - with great conviction.
Tiger Bloods is varied from quiet Rock to wonderful ballads that are a mix of Folk and Indie. Even if you don't want to worry too much about the lyrics, the music is a treat for the ears.
However, the intense performance of the songs will make many people curious about what Waxahatchee has to "tell". Anyone who wants to delve deeper into the lyrics is helped by a neat insert with song lyrics in the beautiful cover.
The year is still young, but this album will definitely make my Top 10 Album 2024 list.
