Mispressing??
I have one (https://discogs.sitiosdesbloqueados.info/release/247926-Frankie-Goes-To-Hollywood-Relax) but with identical A en B sides. Plays 'Relax' on both sides, also the Matrix / Runout on both sides is the same: " DS 106104 A-1/83S I ".
Anyone seen this before? -
Edited 6 years agoAccording to IMDB, two versions of Relax are listed on the soundtrack for the movie ‘Zoolander 2’, but the only version of the soundtrack album I’ve been able to find (so far) doesn’t have any version of Relax. Here’s how the version of Relax for which I’m searching is listed on IMDB:
Relax
Written by Peter Gill, Holly Johnson & Mark O'Toole; Additional lyrics by ASAP Rocky and Nitty Scott (as Nitzia Scott); Performed by ASAP Rocky (as A$AP Rocky) & Nitty Scott (as Nitty Scott MC) & Sam Sparro; Produced by Kill The Noise (as Jake Stanczak); A$AP Rocky courtesy of Polo Grounds Music/RCA Records
I have been able to find this version on SoundCloud (link below), but can’t (yet) seem to locate how/where to purchase it. Anyone have any ideas on this?

I have two different German 12"s (83/84), I'm not sure if it's random but they have two different embossed marks on the rear sleeve : two triangles shaping a square resp. two ellipses.

Please enjoy also the German Version of this record :-)

What can you say about Relax, in 2009? Although it has its roots in the gay scene, this is a classic dance tune loved by all types of people over the decades.
There have been numerous versions and remixes released, one of the most memorable being by Jam & Spoon with their high-speed trance version from the early nineties and the 1989 mixes.
My recent re-introduction to it was after hearing it as opening music to an episode of the first season of Miami Vice.
The instrumental New York Mix is also quite interesting.
