Apart from A3 which sounds a tiny bit too harsh to my ears, record is pretty much flawless with amazing sonics.

Yes! Agreed.
This is a simply superb sounding pressing. I have had the UK original since forever and this copy is so much better.
Quiet vinyl for a start. Just sounds clear and balanced, so musical. -
Edited one year agoWow. I can’t add anything that hasn’t been said. This is a sonic masterpiece, done right by the Japanese. Dead quiet, clear, what a great album. I could only compare it to a hi rez but it certainly held it's own. I was 10 when this album came out and my older sister played it over and over from start to finish, slowly driving every note of every song, and every word into my young, adolescent head. At ten years old, this album will have you asking questions. Surprisingly, this is the first time I’ve owned the actual record.

If you can’t afford (don’t want to pay huge money) for either mofi pressing get this, it will not disappoint.

Yes the hype is real. While my US OG sounds nice, this one beats it. The drums sound real and have great punch. The guitars are crystal clear. The bass is tight. Haven’t heard the MOFI, but doubt it beats this.

Edited one year agoBelieve the hype, it's real! I don't have anything to add that wasn't already mentioned in the previous reviews. Hearing this pressing was like listening to this album for the first time. Just WOW!
I just wish I could meet the people who prepared this specific Japanese pressing and pay them a few beers, they did such an stellar job. -
Not sure how you get better than this one for the price and it is not like you are sacrificing anything sound wise and it is easy to find a clean copy. To me this is the one unless this is a desert island album for you and you have to have the DCC and MOFI because you must. I think it is a matter of getting diminishing returns for your money after getting this one.

If You Have This, There Really Is No Need To Upgrade. It's Warm, Smooth & Magical, Only The DCC Would Be It's Competition And Even Then To My Ears That One Is Abit Too Clean Even Tho It's Very Very Nice. The MFSL 2LP Set I'm Indifferent To, I Just Don't Care For The EQ On That One.

Edited one year agoI picked this up in NM condition. Perfect all round. The sound is spot on. Beautiful.
So, I'll be selling off my original US -- and that US is pretty darn good too, but this press is the one.
