Amazing work on this one by Taylor swift.great pop music when you’re feeling down or angry it makes you dance to the beat ALL the time, very amazing perfect amazing perfect amazingly strong.
-
Wow this sounds fantastic! Flat, thick discs, beautifully marbled. Sparkly and smooth sound throughout, a few moments of IGD and muffled compression on the inner disc tracks, but those still have a pleasing tone. No pops or clicks, very quiet noise floor. My only complaint is that side D of my copy is pressed so off-center that I’m going to have to cut into the center hole for it to be listenable.
-
I wish this version was the blue one honestly, I hate the color of the vinyls (1989 for me will be always blue), but i had to grab this version because of the bonus track. Forever iconic album for me

Picking at the smaller things, calling this tangerine was incorrect. Every other vinyl pressing of this album was pastel-like and this one is no different. It’s more of a creamsicle color. It’s still a nice pressing with some faint marble but it isn’t tangerine.
I’ve listened to it three times through now and it’s a solid pressing offering from Target. I really can’t hear many clicks or pops unless it’s between the transition of songs. The instrumentals are front and center yet her vocals don’t get lost in them. I wasn’t really impressed with some of the re-recorded songs when I listened first (through digital outlets) but I think the vinyl has changed my opinion on the songs I was unhappy with. I give Taylor a lot of credit going through the work she has to re-record her catalog and in general, so far, it’s been wonderful. -
genuinely confused… can someone please explain what the difference is between this pressing and the other tangerine edition listing. also what is a MPO?
-
Is it just me or does her voice sound odd on this pressing? Almost like it’s high pitched and just taken from the original recordings. I’ve tried adjusting the bass and treble on my speaks and nothing helps. Can anyone please help?
-
The sound on my copy (all four sides) seems to vacillate between nice and crisp, and overly compressed and muffled. The color is beautiful - I would not call it tangerine at all, but rather creamsicle. Both of my discs are noticeably marbled.
Worth noting though: my disc 2 is really warped. Doesn't appear to affect the sound though.
