Edited one year agoI’ve copy #1003. Amazing sounding pressing and probably very hard to beat soundwise. This is as good as it gets IMHO.
My vinyl rig:
Michell Orbe SE with SME IV tonearm and Benz Micro LP cartridge plus ARC PH5 phono stage. -
I love this record and I’ve heard several well regarded pressings of it now…. This is my favorite. The 45 AP and the 45 MoFi One Step do not beat this one to me. This one has some bite to it that I enjoy. Don’t know how to describe it other than it is just much more engaging than those two.

I am first owner of this record but from the beginning I had problems with clicks and pops. Even several cleaning did not help.
Disappointing for a record with such great sound quality. That's super !

Edited 3 years agoAbsolutely fascinating recording and reissue on LP. Quiet pressing. Cannot imagine that any other reissue of this record can do significantly better. Not yet. Muddy is in your room - wow!
Update: The MoFi One Step Ultradisc, imo, unfortunately cannot beat that reissue. Listen to Muddy‘s voice on both records. The difference is hearable. And the price difference is significant.
Imo, the ultimate reissue is the AP 45 rpm. The Anadiscq comes in 2nd best. -
This is the best-sounding vinyl I own, period. Even better than my other MOFI pressings. It gives you goose bumps. Whisper quiet with no surface noise whatsoever, it's an absolute gem of a press.
