Sounds great but the quality control on mine is awful. It has a horrible bump on the lead in groove and terrible warping. -
Edited one year agoMy deadwax matches the person below me. Probably a recent repress from this year, or a variant perhaps?
Either way, it sounds solid for the most part. Wide, dynamic and immersive. Some mild surface noise throughout but isn’t too much of a problem.
However, ballad of big nothing and between the bars sound kind of bit crushed to me? Like the AGs mainly? Kinda weird. Never noticed it while streaming this record. -

I had the same sticker as the photo but I have not seen anywhere that has the same matrix as I do. Above is the matrix I have for side A. Pretty confused. Typing in the matrix came up with nothing. -
First copy I got: Full of surface noise, especially during “Between the Bars”. Second copy I got: dead quiet & very dynamic, but warped as hell. Can’t have my cake and eat it too, apparently.
