Notes
Similar to Bongo Fury; the most noticeable difference on that version is a maple leaf symbol (denoting Canadian manufacturing) printed on the back cover.
Some copies have a sticker on the front cover with the artists' names and album title.
Runouts are etched apart from Customatrix's symbol, which is stamped.
Pressed by is uncredited, but is identified by the lacquer cuts in combination with a 2.70'' pressing ring on the labels.
On the back cover:
Tracks A1 to A4, B2 to B4: "Recorded live at Armadillo World Headquarters, Austin Texas, May 20th and 21st, 1975. Plus Selected Studio Wonderment." A5, B1 & B4 intros recorded Jan & Feb 1974
Remote recording, overdubs & mixing at The Record Plant, L.A.

I know that this rarely falls in the category of anyone's favourite Zappa album. It's not my favourite either, but it's much stronger than I think the general impression gives it. It's as much a Zappa album as a Beefheart album. The first two tracks are standout, but nothing beats "Muffin Man", which could have been my only reason for owning this album. But yeah, fortunately I think the rest of it is pretty good too and while it might not be the Zappa album I keep coming back to, I never regret putting it on my turntable.
