    Beachbeatle1
More great 70s mid-tempo southern country/soul roots rock & soulful ballads from criminally unappreciated ex-Derek & the Dominoes/Delaney & Bonnie sideman w/ excellent songwriting & amazing soulful voice soaked in gospel R&B & blues. Some all-star backing from George Harrison, Eric Clapton, Bobby Keys, Klaus Voormann, Delaney & Bonnie, et al.
Whitlock has had a very impressive musical career - by the time he was a teenager he was playing on many of the sessions at the legendary Stax Studios and was in fact the first white artist signed to Stax Records.
    Stellar effort.

Too bad he never got his due in the early years, but as things change he is finally getting some credit for being an incredible talent

It takes a little bit of work to find this album. If you don't like it, I'm really not sure how you got there in the first place.
