I am listening to this as I am typing this, and yeah. This press rocks! The only downside I'll say is that the bottom end is lacking a little and was cut a little low. Turn it up, and it'll sound like AIC is playing in your room. You'll pay up beforehand but is still worth it if you're a grunge collector or a massive AIC fan.

Edited 4 months agoThis is really a quality press. No background noise at all and this record is now over 30 years! Just as Layne hits the high pitch at the end of I Can't always give me the shivers! Critics of this pressing may complain about to less bass. But for me, this one is a perfect balance. Very clean sound.

So the original pressing actually went UP in price when they finally reissued this on vinyl, didn’t see that coming

I wonder which version sounds best-This one, the Brazilian version, or the South Korea version ? Anyone have all three and can give some perspective?

I own this and the new reissue. Being the nerd I am I just did a real time comparison. The reissue sounds amazing but this does sound better. If you’ve loads of money and are an audiophile get this one. If not get the other one and you’ll love it.

"Facelift" and "Alice In Chains/Tripod" should be re-released officially ASAP. Let's hope MOV or Sony/Columbia does it soon.
