Considering the technical standards of portable tape recorders in the late 60´s, the sound is really very acceptable,
i heard far inferior stuff recorded on portable equipment, as it is with lots of other live documents you have
to activate your sonic imagination, then this is really great stuff, big hugs for the great Robert Quine.

Great stuff! Doesn't sound as good as 1969: Velvet Underground Live with Lou Reed, but it sounds A LOT better than the Boston Tea Party recordings. This is a must-have for fans of live VU.

I had this on CD but I found the quality so bad you could hardly listen to it; I was wondering if anything has been done to attempt to improve the sound quality here.
