I absolutely love the extended version of this album; it offers a delightful surprise with its different variations of the original record. The vinyl’s color is stunning as well.
The only issue I encountered was with the track “Unstoppable (D2),” which had some noticeable noise and skips. I was extremely disappointed since I wasn’t given the option to exchange it at the store.

God I love the way this album sounds. I simply bought the extended mixes because I wanted Disco on vinyl and this version happened to be on sale. Such a happy accident and I have no desire to get the original pressing now. The color of the actual vinyl is stunning, and just the overall audio quality is superb.

Edited 2 months agoReviewing every record in my collection;
I've been putting off reviewing this record due to the fact I basically burnt it out from start to finish when it came out. Released in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, this felt like a small puddle of water in the middle of the desert. I was literally obsessed with it I bought the regular vinyl the moment it came out. And, although I had no problem with the tracks length (unlike Tension II for example) these extended versions a la Classic Disco style expanded upon what was originally released without feeling cheap or artificial, then again, Unlike Tension II extended mixes (which I'm still expecting for a vinyl release to purchase it) these new mixes feel perfectly crafted for each track, can't even begin to explain how good the Say Something extended mix is (probably one of the best songs ever)
Looking back on the Disco era, without all the "One Day fascination" I can say for certain that this is Kylie's best dance album by far (third in general, only behind Kylie 94' and Impossible Princess)
Now, going to the matter, how does this record sound? Well, it's amazing! I wanted to get the double marble 45RPM vinyl back then since the 6 songs per side didn't sound the best, but due to how limited it was and the price of imports made me buy the regular pressing that, although not bad, didn't make justice to the songs themselves. Now, a year later, this vinyl comes out and the mastering of it is flawless. Sure, it's not the quietest record; it has its cracks and pops, but it's not nearly as bad as some nowadays pressings, and it will take you on a magical music journey like no other. I still would like to get the previously mentioned marble blue vinyl and Guest List Edition on vinyl, but for the moment being I'm more than happy with this vinyl pressing. -
Edited 11 months agoLove this record so much, it's perfect on vinyl. Unfortunately 'Say Something' has so many skips... anyone else getting it on theirs?
EDIT: I take it back! turns out it was my record player that's crap lol I upgraded to a Technics and this vinyl is 10 out of 10! -
Sounds pretty great! Quite quiet, and sound quality is good too. I did pick up on a little vocal sibilance but that’s very likely just my cartridge. Anyway, would definitely recommend!

Edited 2 years agoKylie really kept the fans happy throughout the Disco era - so many brilliant releases. However this one tops the lot. As far as I'm concerned *this* is the definitive version of the album. Brilliant packaging (colourful, thick, metallic gatefold) and the purple vinyl is gorgeous and it pretty flawless to my ears.
Other artists need to take note - THIS is how you do a physical release! -
This pressing is a tonal explosion of colors. I'm truly blown away by the sound of the records, its color & the packaging!
Incredible work by Ms. Minogue! -
