Edited 2 years agoNot much of a difference between this, and the 1st press. besides this being pressed on thicker wax, Less chance of yellowing on cover, and maybe 50/50 having a L.O. catalogue(My sealed pressing came with one :).
After tons of irl digging, and asking friggen John Golden(guy who cut this on vinyl for the "Lookout" days) Only difference in pressing quality would be the "96" is "a copy made from a Duplicate of the first press metal stampers" to probably cut some costs instead of a full on re-cut. which is why you see an "C"(=Copy) in the deadwax instead of "L" on this press, and tons of OG 1st's.
unless you are a stupid purist like me. this copy is pretty much a re-press of the first..minus the high price.
