Edited 19 hours agoYep, nothing wrong with this pressing - surprised that it was a gatefold and nothing wrong with the sound quality, full and dynamic. Lovely printed artwork inners (not static-proof).
A niggle personally would be they could have changed up the colour of the centre labels for the second LP to make it look different as it is just a copy of the first LP's inner labels. I can't really notice a difference between this and the original CD but get this pressing it's great and certainly a lot better than the sadly over compressed CD version from 2015.

Fantastic sounding. Highly detailed, amazing low end, great pressings. Gritty in all the right ways. One of my favorite albums since it came out. I also have the pink /magenta pressing and, amazingly, they're indistinguishable in sound quality. Color wax has traveled the distance. -

Took two goes but managed a good copy.... first copy had non filled disc1 one second copy had non filled disc 2. Kept both good discs and only a hint of warp stops the pressings from being perfect. YMMV here.
Mastering is lovely, running at 45rpm always sounds better to me as evidenced in the many AP 33/45 editions i own of identical masterings... the 45 always sounds abit more open and clear/clean -
Did anyone else's have a parental advisory sticker on it? I've been listening to this for a couple decades now and don't recall there being very much swearing. -
For those in the US don't order this from Amazon. It ships in brown paper only with no protection at all. It may be cheaper but the jacket will be bent up and terrible looking when it arrives if the records themselves aren't broken. -
This pressing is superior to the original pressing from 1995.
It's perfect, I'm blown away by how good it is.

Has anyone noticed they got rid of the bleed in of A Stroke of Luck from Not My Idea…. The album sounds great either way but I always liked that bleed in…. This is truly my only reason I normally don’t like remastered versions, They are usually perfect to begin with but it is a small gripe for a great album
