There were approximately 4000 copies pressed on black vinyl in 1993, 1995, 1997, and 2004 (1000 units pressed each time). All using the same original plates. There are no repress markers and no indicators in the dead wax indicating any difference.

Why does this say 1993 now? Swear it said 2007 when I added years ago.

This album ruined my girlfriend's idea of 1st pressings vs remastered reissue 🫠. She said "I can tell and I'm mad now that I know the remaster sounded so much more compressed". And she was the one who kept telling me the reissue is fine.

I use her as a blind test usually just to make sure I'm not going crazy. (I still maybe going crazy)

Beautiful, crunchy, psych rock masterpiece. Scored an SVG copy for $125 at a local record store yesterday. Couple of pops and clicks that will probably clean up well. The only issue I noticed was what appears to be a defect at the beginning of Side C at the very beginning of Geek USA. The guitars kick in a measure too early before cutting right out and then playing as normal. Has anyone else noticed this?
Edit: I added a needle drop to Burntable if anyone wants to hear what I'm referencing at the beginning of Geek USA.

I got this copy several months ago, the discs is pretty clean, and the sounds is perfect!! It's really a pity can't find the exact date.

This album could have been pressed on one record but the foresight to split it up on to 2 records is pretty freaking awesome for 1993. This sounds fantastic and is loud! Love it! PS…I’m looking for the inner sleeves if anyone has extras…

I enjoy this record but it seems like a pretty hot press in my opinion. It’s brickwalled
with volume on all tracks turned right the way up…! There is barely any dynamic contrast and though it’s meant to be loud rock which is my thing it’s fatiguing to listen to. Each to his own I guess and noting the positive comments from elsewhere

I bought mine around 2008-2009 and it's glorious but...

LP1 Side A has the same sticker for Record 2 Side B.

I wonder if that's less desirable.

                  Not selling regardless.

I can't believe they changed the album artwork for all the post-2011 re-pressings, this cover is the real deal.
