I’ve seen multiple copies of this with horrendous damage to the outer sleeves I think a lot of them must have been next to each other on a shelf when there was some sort of catastrophic flooding event or something. Anybody have a clean outer sleeve they want to part with let me know!

This is an exceptional pressing. Quiet and dynamic. TML in the dead wax is always a good sign. RIP Doug Sax.

Edited 3 years agoIf you’re a Lemonheads fan you know they’re major label recordings always sounded really good on CD. They are recorded very clearly and coherently to where you can hear all of the instruments really well, especially the drums which often time give the Lemonheads songs something uniquely special, so it’s important they sound good. Lemonheads’ songs are usually pretty simple so it’s not like you need an audiophile version of their albums but this vinyl version sounds absolutely tremendous. It adds a super hi def quality to the music not heard on other formats and just opens up the soundstage filling the room with lush sound. This record must have been recorded to tape and mastered well specifically for vinyl because it sounds a step above.
