I just got a copy of this and mine also has distortion on some of the vocals on Electrolite, The music is fine. Nothing terrible but it is noticeable compared to the rest of the album which is excellent.
-
Stunning soundstage, would like to be able to compare against the new Kevin Gray remaster. Hard to believe it would be better than this though. I haven't had any issues as others have experienced in this thread with my copy. No variability between tracks or distortion. Electrolite has consistent sound quality compared with the other tracks.
-
I took a gamble with this album as I was worried about the reports of distortion on Electrolite, however my copy sounds fine!

Electrolite Distortion: my copy seems to be getting better with age - I've had mine since new - played maybe 10 - 12 times & the crackle/distortion on Electrolite has really cleared up a lot - perfectly enjoyable & hardly noticeable now
-
Just got a good deal on this and on my first ever listen on vinyl with this album I can totally agree with the previous comment on Electrolite. Some fuzziness comes through my speaker only on this song. Quite annoying.
-
My copy seems a bit 'hot' in places, distorts particularly badly on Electrolite. Otherwise, decent pressing if a bit muddy but it kind of suits the record.
