Japanese pressing of the 1979 US version of "The Clash" with bonus 7" single "Gates Of The West". LP cover (original US version cover) with a magenta colored wraparound "The Clash Pearl Harbour '79". The 7" comes on a cardboard insert.
6 page insert:
- 2 pages contain the original sleeve with band photos and lyrics in English. Lyrics for "Gates of the West" and "Groovy Times" have been added (with a different font and all capital letters)
- 1 page has the track list and liner notes in Japanese (dated 1979.7.29)
- 2 pages of lyrics in Japanese
- 1 page a band history/profile up to 1979 in Japanese
The catalog number is listed as "25-3P-139~140" on the wraparound and the cover. The insert incorrectly lists it as "25-3P-139~40".

i got this japan only lp back in the early 80s, good selection of songs and of coarse a very unique sleeve to japan only, this used to be very hard to get but i see plenty are out there today 40 years on..............
