Why is this first edition still being sold for so much money? Do sellers really expect to buy this while it's been repressed?
The 2023 re-release is the exact same item. Why would anyone pay over €200,- for an item you can get everywhere for less than €100,-? LOL -
-
What's the quality on the repress like? My copy of the first pressing had the records all scuffed and dirty.

Sounds great. Glad I never paid resale. The songs on the first two LPs sound surprisingly very good, great dynamics and they really space them out. The concert sounds great too, as expected. Quiet vinyl, no cracks/pops on mine.

A must have for any lamb, and probably one of the best pressed vinyl of her entire discography. I am so glad they made more copies!

Edited 2 years agoThis is a magnificent collection of some of Mariah Carey's most compelling work. Rarities? Whether or not it doesn't really matter as that only detracts from the fact that all of the songs found on the first two LPs are truly outstanding. They perfectly illustrate why Ms. Carey is considered one of the most gifted R&B vocalists ever. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED box-set 😊👍.
Update 03/16/2023: Represses received today. Flawless vinyl quality, superb packaging. Everything top-notch. Buy on sight! 🤩. -
THIS WAS WORTH EVERY PENNY! This is definitely one of the best pressings in MC’s repertoire because everything sounds so clear and high quality. I don't hear any popping or hissing. I am most impressed by the live Tokyo Dome songs, as Mariah’s vocals sound crystal clear and really jump out you at some points. Definitely as MUST-OWN due to the high quality sound! Thats why theyre hard to find and very expensive as of now.

I finally bought this, it was expensive but worth it. Ill forever treasure Live at Tokyo Dome. Also happy I can now play Do you think of me and Slipping away without using youtube lol. Pressing sounds really good! Slight distortion towards the ending of each record, but thats normal I guess?

Fantastic pressing and amazing packages! Not a big fan of some previously unreleased songs but live at Tokyo Dome is everything!
