Incredible sounding album. Definitely reference grade. Amazing album as well. Shame it’s not given much attention.

It seems that there is a later UK pressing of this (probably from 1991 or 1992) that has a pressing problem (a strange cut that sounds like a “digital skip” during the title track). The matrix is the same as what’s listed here plus additional numbers/letters. I don’t know how to make a new listing, but curious if anyone else has this press and could help make the new listing.

Edited 7 months agoAbsolutely superb sound and one of my favorite albums from Sting. It’s one of the best sounding 33 rpm records in my collection too which is saying something! That Q Sound process obviously works.
I bought the CD of the album back when it first came out and I’m stoked that I now have this beautiful condition original UK pressing of it also. Beautifully mastered, a more intimate and organic sounding presentation over the OG CD -
Sounds amazing, suppose that’s the Q sound thing. Best thing Stings done in his solo career, IMO. Sleeve is really thin and no inner sleeve but that’s of no consequence when the music’s this good.
Thoroughly recommended.
