Very booooooring album. It's not bad music but just very underwhelming. I believe that it only gets the praise it does due to its status as being done by a punk "supergroup", and though people argue the contrary, this really just feels like an Evens album with a bass player.

Had only one or two stray pops on my copy which otherwise sounds fine. My only quibble is the production. It takes a little getting used to as it sounds quite strange at first, like hearing a distant bass guitar from the next apartment over. It seems deliberate and it does ultimately work. The songs are pretty damn cool too.

Great music! Love the record. Also the mastering is decent. The pressing however is so-so - it's like you purchase a Mint record and when you play it you realize that it's 50% Mint, 30% VG+, 20% VG .. crackle...crackle...campfire. On a new record pretty much unacceptable. If you do not badly need it on vinyl, wait for a different pressing. You may get some color as well for some extra-$$$.

Worth the wait and the hype. Every line is prescient, sounds like a lot of it was written just yesterday. Pretty heavy vinyl. Instant classic, and hopefully the runout on side A is a setup for a Fugazi reunion somewhere down the line. Fingers crossed, I suppose. This should tide over any fan for quite awhile.
