Springsteen and MTV specifically titled the show "Plugged," and it was boldly d (in all caps, no less) as such on MTV for the month prior to the broadcast. Every iteration of this release is similarly titled Plugged, with a deliberate red X eliminating the "Un" portion of MTV's regular branding. With that in mind, I'm having a hard time understanding why nearly all of these releases are incorrectly titled MTV Unplugged? It's not "Unplugged" or "XPlugged;" it's just Plugged. What's the resistance to using the actual title?
