A beautiful sounding pressing from beginning to end. I really love this a-ha album. I totally recommend this album and pressing. Side note, I do wet wash every album, new or old, with Tergikleen before it ever hits my turntable. Eliminates the pops and clicks and avoids the stylus pressing the manufacturer gunk into the grooves.

Edited one year agoKiller quiet pressing, wide music scene with detailed sound. Not more than 2-3 clicks on the whole vinyls. BUT! My ears heard some compression on highs, especially on voice recording. Anyway, I’d recommend to have this double LP in your collection. My system: Audio-Technica AT-LPW40WN, Marantz PM5005, Shure SRH1840 headphones.

Got my Lifelines LP today. Bought as new from Am*z*n marketplace but the copy obviously has flaws, glue (?) marks on the first record's edge, ... I read in another customer's comment that he had a copy with manufacture glitches, too.
Not really sure if the seller (from UK) is the problem, or if a bunch of Lifelines LP have undergone some technical failures? Knowing that my copy's plastic wrap was already open with cutter. -
Very bad sound quality. It sounds like through the matt glass. I do not enjoy the album while listening this vinyl.

terrible recording quality , do not buy ! From the middle to the end, the sound quality deteriorates, although the vinyl itself looks good. these reissues are terribly recorded, this concerns two albums that were released on vinyl for the first time!!! there are no clicks, but the sound is terrible!!!shame on the manufacturer!!!!! it would be better not to do anything, turn music into garbage!!!

Nice pressing and a surprising improvement on the Euro 2002 CD. For a while I thought some different mixes were used but it just appears to be down to the greater clarity. I did wonder if the sound quality dipped a bit on Solace though. Loads of static in the inner sleeves at first (they aren't lined) and the records look VG+ straight out, but it sounded very good with no obvious pops or crackles other than a bit of lead in groove. No included.

Can anyone comment on the pressing quality of this LP? Lots of Optimal's albums over the past 5 years have been shockers for ticks and clicks so I'd be grateful for any . Thanks!
