Edited 18 years agoEverything But the Girl go back to house with WRONG, recruiting some of the best and brightest (plus Todd Terry) for remixes. Okay, so maybe I’m being hard on Todd Terry, but his mixes sound perfunctory—not all that different from the original. Deep Dish perform one of their traditional 10-minute plus mixes that slowly adds and removes elements, and, yes, it does go one for about 4 minutes longer than it should. But Mood II Swing take the cake here, with their more angular mix, using chords to create some dissonance instead of pure harmony, which, in many ways, is fitting. Never has being wrong sounded so right.
