Adele (3) – 19

I opened a brand new copy and it had numerous fingerprints and swipe marks from fingers. I put it through ultra-sonic cleaning bunches of time and it didn't make any difference. It was so noisy that I couldn't concentrate of the music. I'm guessing this was pressed by RTI since fingerprints and scratches are their trademark. I've seen more pressings like this from them then I care to think about. I guess I'll have to make do with the cd.

Covered in hairline scratches, even though it’s new. The company producing this needs to go after whomever is pressing it. Unplayable, even the replacement sent. Too bad bc it’s a great album, but I’ll wait until they do this album justice.

Sounds pretty dern good. Quiet pressing, good dynamics. No defects.

When I opened the new, still sealed album, it had a perfectly straight 1" inch hairline running diagonally across side 1, song 2. Very visible, but not too noticeable to the ear during play. Bad quality control, or a one-off error? The pressing itself sounds alive and wonderful.

This pressing sounds pretty good. A little surface noise picked up here and there, but most of the time it’s hard to hear. Adele’s vocals sound pretty clear though.

This release is available for purchase through Target's website in the US. My copy arrived visibly warped. Sounds is decent, though- clear sounds but a few pops on a freshly cleaned vinyl. Hard to beat the price, though.
