Not a terrible pressing, but it could be better. It definitely needs a new remaster and reissue. Needs to be a little more dynamic and punchy. However, if this is the only press you have access to and you really love this album, it’s not bad. I give it a B grade.

This pressing is not great. There are bits where I can't tell if the guitars on the left are just weirdly distorted, or the audio on the record is just distorted. It all sounds sort of one dimensional. It's kind of a bummer, since there are some darn fine songs on this one.

Are these 2017 reissues remastered? It's the only BR album from the first part of their career that didn't get a remaster when all the others before this one was released. STF is so amazingly recorded it doesn't need an RM and so is everything after it, only Recipe For Hate seemed a difficult thing to work with since BR didn't own it anymore, only the very few first releases of this one are Epitaph only and not Atlantic, that is, until these 2017 reissues. Is it better sounding than the kind of weak mix its got even back then, unfortunately?
