Is it only me or the 1st disc's quality is like 30% poorer in of sound quality recording (even muffled at parts) while during the second disc things get clearer and with way better live experience. (Owning German press)

Simply the best live album ever. Period.
My copy has a paper insert "The Thin Lizzy Collection" showing previous Phonogram releases.

Is it true there is a version of this with the Jailbreak intro "Police Street"? I saw them in Belfast on the Live And Dangerous tour and it is one of the few memories of the gig that I've really ed (I was 13 at the time), the moologue with the sirens and the police car lights, the smoke and the spotlight weaving around the stage. If there is a version of this I would love to get it.

Thin Lizzy were one of the greatest hard rock bands ever!
With the gifted black Irish front man, the late Phil Lynott, the band not only had a sexy rock god leader, but also an exceptional bass player, lyricist and songwriter.

‘Live and Dangerous’ captures the band at the peak of their game and firing on all cylinders before excess drug use and line-up changes began to take their toll in the 80’s.

Phil and band mates Brian Downey, Brian Robertson and Scott Gorham rip into massive rockers such as ‘Jailbreak’, ‘Massacre’, ‘Cowboy Song’, ‘Are You Ready’, ‘Emerald’, ‘Don’t Believe A Word’ and the autobiographical anthem ‘The Boys Are Back In Town’.

There’s also a little light and contrast with sweet numbers like ‘Southbound’, the slinky melody and rolling easy swing of “Dancing In The Moonlight’ and the tasty funk of ‘Johnny The Fox’.

Sadly, Phil Lynott died at age 36 in 1986, but with awesome albums like this around, his legacy will remain!

Media itself is really good quality; sounds like you're at the concert. The sleeve is very badly damaged though by previous owner.
