I picked that one up off a crate, I had no idea who is 2nd shift, I forgot to read the info on the vinyl but I know that Seasons recordings is a great label. So I pay the 3 bucks it cost me. Go home and put it on the turntable! Mind blown! Deep house, disco and jazzy. I check 2nd shift on discogs and then realized that this is made by 2 amazing producers J.T. Donaldson and Tim Shumaker and as if it was not enough the Heather on the vocals is actually DJ Heather! Time to hunt down the rest of 2nd shift's EPs! One of the best blind purchases I made and I love that feeling! -
Worth picking up for Something Else, deep driving groove with disco element drums and unusual vocal production on the vocals which work well. -
